Solaris extends its intelligent monitoring to your display's color temperature, automatically shifting from cooler, daylight-like tones to warmer, amber hues as the day progresses. This critical feature is designed to protect your eyes from the potentially disruptive effects of blue light and support your body's natural circadian rhythm.
How it Enhances Your Experience
By continuously tracking the sun's position relative to your location, Solaris creates a visual environment that evolves with the natural light outside:
- Daytime: During daylight hours, your monitors will maintain a crisp, cooler color temperature, typically around 6500K, mirroring natural daylight for optimal alertness and color accuracy.
- Evening: As the sun sets and evening approaches, Solaris gradually transitions your display to warmer tones, reaching a comfortable 3300K. This warmer light is rich in reds and yellows, closely resembling incandescent light and natural firelight.
This smooth, automated adjustment provides several key benefits:
- Reduces Blue Light Exposure: Cooler light, particularly in the blue spectrum, can suppress melatonin production, making it harder to fall asleep. Shifting to warmer tones in the evening helps mitigate this impact, promoting better sleep quality.
